Headway: the new Mental Health Index introduced to the European Parliament
The 2022 Headway Mental Health Index will be presented on September 28th in Brussels, at the European Parliament. Pierluigi Antonelli, CEO of Angelini Pharma, will also participate in the event, along with representatives from European Institutions and Scientific Societies.
Headway is an initiative on Mental Health that was conceived and launched in 2017 by the Think Tank The European House – Ambrosetti, in partnership with Angelini Pharma, with the aim of creating a multidisciplinary platform for strategic reflection, analysis, dialogue and comparison between various European experiences in the management of individuals affected by Mental Health disorders and designing new diagnostic-therapeutic pathways.
Every year, since 2017, appointments for discussion of the annual “Mental Health Index” are held. The latter is a unique analysis model capable of assessing the performance of European Countries in the field of Mental Health management by investigating specific indicators that are: workplace, school, society, healthcare sector and environment (both physical environment / climate crisis and geopolitical environment). This last indicator represents the new feature of 2022.
