Amuchina, Casella

In the Angelini plant of Casella, in the province of Genoa, Amuchina, the well-known broad-spectrum disinfectant (bactericidal, mycobactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal), is produced. The production workshop covers an area of 17,000 square meters and employs 33 people. The plant produces 6 million liters of Amuchina per year equal to approximately 8 million bottles in various sizes.

The implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (Assurance and Quality Control) is an imperative, a modus operandi, in the Casella plant as well, where the same standards are applied as the ACRAF factory of Ancona.

In fact, the Casella production site possesses the following certifications:
  • EUGMP (AIFA)
  • UNI EN ISO 13485:2003
  • UNI EN ISO 9001:2008
  • UNI EN ISO 14001:2004
  • BS OHSAS 18001:2007
  • FDA approval for the production of medical devices with the QS/GMP (Quality System Regulation/Good Manufacturing Practices) requirements.

The warehouse is essentially a place of transit used to store the finished product waiting to be transferred to the peripheral warehouses, including that of the Ancona plant, from which it is distributed throughout the national territory.  Abroad, the main markets for the distribution of Amuchina products are: United States, Mexico, Canada, France, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal and Tunisia.
