Pharma

In the Pharma area, Angelini is an "integrated company" with extensive research, development, manufacture and marketing of active ingredients, and branded drugs and equivalents, medical products and dietary supplements.  At the international level, Angelini is concentrated in the areas of pain and inflammation, nervous system diseases and disorders, infection control and infectious diseases. Its offices are present in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Russia, USA, Pakistan, and Turkey; it operates with about 3.000 people, including 150 researchers and a commercial structure of 1.000 individuals.

The most common and well-known international brands are Trittico (trazodone, antidepressant), Tantum (benzydamine, anti-inflammatory), Aulin (nimesulide, analgesic - anti-inflammatory) and Vellofent (fentanyl, analgesic). In the hospital channel, it is present with Xydalba (dalbavancin) a new generation of antibiotic approved for the treatment of adult patients with acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI).

Angelini drugs are marketed worldwide through licensing and export agreements with more than sixty partners, including major multinational drug companies. The most common molecules are trazodone, benzydamine and prulifloxacine, respectively antidepressant, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, resulting of Angelini research.

At the local level, Angelini is focused on specific areas thanks to the strength of its brands. In Italy it is among the top pharmaceutical companies and a leader in self-medication with brands such as Tachipirina, Moment and Amuchina.

In recent years Angelini has been implementing an internationalization strategy in countries with high growth potential, both through targeted acquisitions and by strengthening existing facilities abroad: the percentage of turnover achieved abroad has been steadily increasing since 2000 and was close to 50% in 2016.

Personal Care

Angelini is a leader on the Italian market of absorbent products for personal care with Fater, since 1992 a joint venture between Angelini and Procter & Gamble, with brands such as Lines and Pampers, Linidor and Dignity and Tampax.  In 2012 Fater enriched its product portfolio with the acquisition of the ACE and NEOBLANC trademarks, with which it entered the market of house cleaning products.

The company has always been committed to developing innovative products and superior quality in the field of absorbent products for personal care.  It is estimated that in two out of three Italian families there is at least one Fater product.

Founded in 1958 by the Angelini family, Fater is now an Italian expert on the needs of Italian consumers adopting the methods of an international company.  The company has its head office in Pescara and manufacturing facilities in Pescara, Campochiaro (CB), Porto (PT) and Mohammedia (Morocco).  Fater employs more than 1.400 people.  It is certified under  the ISO 9001 Quality System, with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and EMAS  and under  the OSHAS 18001 Management of Health and Safety at Work system.  The final quality of the products is entrusted to processing procedures that are even stricter than Community or national laws, for the absolute protection of consumer health and interests.

Fater obtained the Great Place to Work Award as the best company in Italy for the quality of the environment and the working atmosphere. Each year Fater invests more than €750,000 in training;  it can be considered a management school, thanks also to its systematic approach to training and the advanced methodologies applied.

Machinery

With Fameccanica, Angelini is the absolute world leader in design, construction and installation of integrated production lines for disposable sanitary products.  Fameccanica is a wholly owned subsidiary of Fater, a joint venture between Angelini and Procter & Gamble.  Since 1975, Fameccanica has been characterized by cutting-edge technology, constant innovation and ability to work in partnership with customers and suppliers.  These qualities have helped to increasingly strengthen its growth trend, bringing it to assume the dimensions of an international group.  The Fameccanica plant of Sambuceto di S. Giovanni Teatino (CH), where machinery for baby diapers and sanitary napkins for ladies are designed guarantees a  continuous improvement  of the technological process and is a further element of the "virtuous circle of quality."

Today the Fameccanica group can count four companies:  Fameccanica  Data in Italy, a center of excellence and point of reference, Fameccanica Machinery Shanghai, Fameccanica do Brasil and Fameccanica North America.

Wine sector

Bertani Domains operates in viticulture, combining centuries of experience with the latest technologies.

Today’s scene is composed of about 6 wineries, for a total of 800 hectares of which 500 are vineyards, with a total production of about 4 million bottles a year, and more than 1.000 hectares of agricultural land in the Marche.  In the three historic Tuscan wineries, produces prestigious wines in the three designations of origin:  Brunello di Montalcino (Val di Suga in Montalcino),  Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (Trerose in Montepulciano) and Chianti Classico (San Leonino Castellina in Chianti). Tenuta Collepaglia at Castelli di Jesi, it produces Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classic Superior. Puiatti winery, in Friuli, is known for its prestigious Collio and Isonzo DOC, while the company Bertani, is best known for the production of Amarone in the Valpantena, area north of Verona.

In 2015 Bertani Domains acquired the company  Fazi Battaglia (Marche), renowned for the production of Verdicchio.

Perfumery

Angelini Beauty is the business unit of the Angelini Group which operates in the Perfumery and Cosmetics sectors in Spain, Italy and Germany.

Angelini Beauty creates, develops and distributes worldwide fragrances and beauty products  under license for major brands like Angel Schlesser, Anne Moller, Armand Basi, Blumarine, Dsquared2, Gianfranco Ferrè, Mandarina Duck, Pomellato, Trussardi and, since 2015, Laura Biagiotti.
At the international level, the scents are distributed in about 85 countries across Europe, Middle East, Asia and Far East, United States and Latin America.
The company is the exclusive distributor for Spain of Versace, Moschino and, in Germany, Ferragamo.
