Gynaecological anti-inflammatory

Rosalgin is comprised of benzydamine (INN) HCl, a substance of acknowledged antiinflammatory action.
Benzydamine acts on inflammation, respecting and facilitating normal tissue defence and healing capacity, reducing oedema, capillary stasis and degenerative alterations.
Rosalgin exercises an effective detergent action, not only through the classic mechanical effect of vaginal lavages, but also through its inhibitory action on the formation of phlogistic material, providing an evident antiexudative action.

COMPOSITION
Each single-dose sachet contains:
Benzydamine (INN) HCl 500 mg
Excipients: tricetol, sodium chloride, povidone K-25.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Unspecific vaginites.
Coadjuvant in the treatment of specific vaginites.

POSOLOGY
According to the doctor's criteria, 1 or 2 vaginal irrigations or external lavages a day.
To optimise the vaginal douche with Rosalgin the use of Rosalgin Equipo is recommended.

ADMINISTRATION GUIDELINES
The solution is prepared by dissolving the contents of 2 envelopes in 1 litre of water. The water may be lukewarm.

CONTRAINDICATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS
None described.

INCOMPATIBILITIES
None known. It is perfectly compatible with the antibiotics and antimycotics used in the treatment of infectious vaginites, boosting and accelerating their action.

UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS
None described. Local tolerance is good, with no modification of the normal vaginal flora, exfoliated cells or pH.

OVERDOSE
There is no specific treatment for accidental overdose, although a gastric lavage and symptomatic treatment should be carried out.
