The Casella plant

The Angelini plant in Casella, in the province of Genoa, produces the wide-spectrum disinfectant Amuchina. Ten million litres are produced annually, representing about fourteen million units in the various formats.

In 2019, an important investiment has been made for the production of an additional 2 million litres per year of laundry products.

Amuchina is widely sold in Italy and exported mainly to the United States, Mexico, France, Switzerland, Spain and Tunisia.

The plant has a series of certifications from the TÜV SÜD in Munich: UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 for the Quality Management System; UNI EN ISO 13485:2016 for the Quality Management System for Medical Devices; UNI EN ISO 14001:2015 for the environment and BS OHSAS 18001:2007 for safety. The plant is also authorized by AIFA for the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and OTC pharmaceutical products based on the same API. Finally, the plant is authorised by the Ministry of Health for the production of disinfectants Medical Devices/Biocides for the disinfection of environments, surfaces and aliments.
