The Albany plant

The production plant in Albany (Georgia - USA), about three hours south of Atlanta, has been producing ThermaCare® heat wraps worldwide for over 20 years.

Some figures of the plant: an area of 20,000 m2, a production capacity of over 80 million heat patches per year and over 126 workers. The Albany plant is a global supplier for ThermaCare® Heatwrap.

ThermaCare is a patented technology that produces real heat to help the body rebuild damaged tissue and accelerate healing. Thermacare® heatwraps are medical devices registered in Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Austria, USA, Canada and many other countries around the world and continuously tested to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.

ThermaCare® products are formulated for back & hip, neck, wrist & shoulder, knee & elbow, multifunctional muscles and joints, menstrual pain; they all use heat therapy to help relieve muscle pain, reduce soreness and relax tense muscles.

ThermaCare® products are manufactured by specialized technicians who guarantee compliance with the highest production standards using state-of-the-art technology. The production lines have been recently updated with the installation of new flow-wrapper machines and automatic sampling systems able to ensure increasingly high performance in terms of quality and efficiency. The R&D laboratories of ThermaCare® located in the Albany plant make the constant development of innovations possible and allow their integration with the production processes, in accordance with market needs.

The plant is FDA registered and ISO 13485 certified.
